The UK’s industrial policies have done a particularly good job at nurturing the life-sciences and aerospace sectors, business secretary Vince Cable has said.
Speaking about the coalition government’s industrial strategy at The Institute for Public Policy Research think tank on 27 February, Cable said the government wasn’t intimated by being accused of “picking winners”.
