UK environment minister Caroline Spelman is planning to call for more interdisciplinary climate change science at the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20) in Brazil in June.
Spellman told the Planet Under Pressure conference in London today (26 March) that scientists must overcome differences between disciplines and work together. “We need to bring the disciplines together to tackle the multidisciplinary problems,” she said.
