The Department of Health’s National Institute for Health Research’s e-health service—which will allow researchers greater access to NHS health data—is now in operation.
The Clinical Practice Research Datalink service, launched on 31 October, was spurred by a promise in the government’s Plan for Growth in March to build a consensus on using e-health record data.
