IFS director joins climate change board

Paul Johnson, director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies, has been appointed to the board of the Committee on Climate Change, the independent body established to advise the UK government on greenhouse gas emission targets.

Energy and climate change secretary Edward Davey announced the decision, made jointly with ministers in the devolved administrations, on 9 August.
