Another £30m for start-up loans scheme

Prime minister David Cameron has announced a £30 million boost to the government’s start-up loans scheme, which provides entrepreneurs with funding to start their own businesses.

The first awards were made in September 2012. Cameron’s announcement on 3 January takes the total cash available over the next three years to more than £110m.
