The UK Food Standards Agency is looking for a chairman or chairwoman.
The job takes two to three days a week, and pays up to £60,000 a year. The appointment is for a maximum of four years. Candidates will have a pre-appointment hearing with a House of Commons Select Committee.
The closing date for applications is 9 May.
