The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has launched triennial reviews of its Science Advisory Council and Advisory Committee on Releases to the Environment.
The reviews, announced on 25 March, will assess whether the functions carried out by the bodies are still required and if the way they carry them out is appropriate and offers value for money.
A consultation on the reviews is open until 30 April.
