The information comes in a document detailing the expertise of the existing 11 academic centres of excellence that was published on 25 March.
These centres, recognised for having established critical mass and good quality cybersecurity research, are based at Imperial College London, Newcastle University, Queen’s University Belfast, Royal Holloway, University of London, University College London, and the Universities of Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Lancaster, Oxford and Southampton.
