DFID seeks chief scientist

The Department for International Development is advertising for a chief scientific adviser.

The CSA will have an annual research budget of roughly £300 million to manage, and will be expected to provide advice to ministers, senior civil servants and other officials in the UK government.

Applications close in April, with the successful applicant expected to begin in October. The anticipated term for the position is either three or six years.
