The Government Office for Science has launched a blogging platform and is encouraging the 10,000 scientists and engineers working in the civil service to contribute to it.

The Government Science and Engineering blog aims to “raise the profile” of the science and engineering profession within government and will provide “examples of good work happening inside and outside government”, according to a statement.

The blog will also act as a platform for those with an interest in science and engineering to share their career stories, write about learning opportunities and advertise job vacancies.
