Solloway and Donelan in ‘regular contact’ despite split brief

Comments follow data showing that ministers exchanged no emails during first nine months in office

Almost a year into her new role, science minister Amanda Solloway has insisted that she and universities minister Michelle Donelan work closely together despite their previously unified briefs being split in two.

Solloway (pictured, left) was speaking in an exclusive interview with Research Professional News, after a recent freedom of information request revealed the pair did not exchange any emails between February and November last year.
