Fix UK ‘underperformance’ in tech firm scale-up, PM’s advisers urge

Prime minister’s science and technology council recommends ways to boost availability of scale-up investment

The prime minister’s science advisory body has made recommendations to mitigate the UK’s “underperformance” in scaling up science and technology companies.

In a letter made public on 6 December, the Council for Science and Technology advised the government on ways it could help increase the availability of scale-up investment for S&T companies.
