UK’s chief medic calls for more R&D on air pollution

                             

Chris Whitty wants more done to tackle problem with focus on research on indoor pollution

The UK’s chief medical officer Chris Whitty has outlined the need for research, innovation and engineering in tackling air pollution, in his third annual report published on 8 December.

“Everyone is affected by air pollution, and it is everyone’s problem,” Whitty said.
