New inquiry to look at decline in engineering apprenticeships

                             

Peers seek to uncover reasons for decrease in engineering, manufacturing and technology apprenticeships in UK

An inquiry has been launched by two peers to investigate the decline in engineering, manufacturing and technology apprenticeships in the UK over the past years.

Led by Lord Jim Knight and Lord David Willets, with support from charity Engineering UK, the inquiry is asking for feedback through a call for evidence from employers, training providers and young people on ways to improve apprenticeships in the sector.
