Science and technology secretary chooses Ben Johnson as senior policy adviser

Ben Johnson, who worked as an adviser to three previous UK government science ministers, is returning to Westminster to work for a fourth.

Johnson, currently executive head of strategic research and innovation at the University of Strathclyde, announced on 13 April that he had been appointed as a senior policy adviser to the secretary of state at the Department of Science, Innovation and Technology, Michelle Donelan.
