The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and the Economic and Social Research Council have announced they are to invest £7 million in infrastructure research.
The councils say they will jointly support two interdisciplinary centres with the aim of investigating “new ideas and business models that may change the way the UK’s infrastructure is both developed and managed”.
