Funders and BIS in talks for Biomedical Catalyst part two

The Medical Research Council, the Technology Strategy Board and officials from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills are in talks to make a case to the Treasury for further investment in the £180 million Biomedical Catalyst fund.

Unveiled in the UK government’s Life Sciences Strategy in December 2011, the Biomedical Catalyst is a joint MRC and TSB funding programme open to businesses and academics in translational health research.
