Acting director takes permanent role at NERC centre

Mark Bailey, who has been acting director of the Natural Environment Research Council’s Centre for Ecology and Hydrology for 18 months, is to take up the position permanently.

Bailey, a microbiologist, has previously worked as director of CEH’s Oxford site and as science director for the CEH biodiversity programme.
