The Economic and Social Research Council will launch a collection of social and economic data through an investment of £17 million over five years.
The UK Data Service, to launch in October, will provide a “unified point of access to the extensive range of high quality economic and social data, including valuable census data,” says the council in a statement. This will include “controlled access” to sensitive data.
