The Natural Environment Research Council is looking for someone to chair its Science and Innovation Strategy Board.
Applicants should have extensive experience and understanding of research, business or policy related to environmental science or engineering, at national and international levels. The position is for three years starting 1 April 2015 and pays £9,000 a year for 20-25 days work.
The Science and Innovation Strategy Board makes recommendations regarding scientific direction to the NERC Council that are in-keeping with the NERC’s Charter, and monitors the implementation of scientific strategy.
