The British Library and two research councils have launched Visualising Research, a competition for which participants must create visual representations of research funding.
The competition, run in collaboration with the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council and the Arts and Humanities Research Council, opened on 27 February. It was inspired by the British Library’s data visualisation exhibition Beautiful Science: Picturing Data, Inspiring Insight.
Researchers, designers, artists and software developers worldwide, as well as anyone else with an interest in data visualisation, are invited to apply by 21 March. The winner will receive £2,000.
