The Arts and Humanities Research Council plans to commomorate the 100th anniversary of the start of the first world war by bringing together its work on the war in a blog.
Dubbed “Beyond the Trenches”, the blog is being produced in partnership with the Imperial War Museum, the Heritage Lottery Fund and the BBC, and it aims to bring new perspectives and interpretations of the first world war, the council said in a statement.
A recent post that discusses work in munitions factories was written by an AHRC-funded BBC adviser.
