Fifteen national research funding agencies have established a collaboration to identify priorities in social sciences and humanities, in a project supported by the European Union.
As well as the UK’s Economic and Social Research Council and the Arts and Humanities Research Council, the partnership includes funders from Brazil, Canada, Germany, France, Finland, Mexico, the Netherlands, Portugal and the United States.
The Trans-Åtlantic Platform in Social Sciences and Humanities Research will be funded by the EU for three years. The European Commission is an observer to the partnership.
