STFC seeks board and panel members

Vacancies have arisen on the science board as well as various panels and committees of the Science and Technology Facilities Council.

The STFC science board, which is the research council’s principal scientific advisory committee, is seeking applications for membership. The board provides the research council with strategic scientific overview as well as assessments and advice relating to all of its research programmes. 

Applications are also being sought for advisory panels on specific subject areas, including astronomy, nuclear physics, computing, and innovation. The education, training and careers committee and DiRAC resource allocation committee are also looking for members.
