EPSRC seeks more diverse advisory teams

The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council has reopened applications for some of its strategic advisory teams after a consultation with the council’s own Appointments Assurance Committee concluded that the teams lack diversity.

The teams affected are Research Infrastructure and Information and Communications Technology.

Strategic advisory teams provide advice on research and training strategies across the council’s remit. They are expected to alert the council to emerging research opportunities, advise on the balance between research and training and suggest areas for further investigation..
