AHRC details PhD training plans

The Arts and Humanities Research Council has revealed its plans for its next round of doctoral training partnerships.

UK-based research organisations interested the scheme should get together in consortia of at least two organisations, the AHRC said in a statement on 28 November. To meet the criteria the organisations must focus on “excellent training, championing interdisciplinarity and deepening collaboration with the voluntary, public and commercial sectors”, the council said.

The latest partnerships will provide training for research students across the arts and humanities, as well as across areas of interdisciplinary research located at the boundaries with the sciences and social sciences.
