The Diamond Light Source is seeking two non-executive members for its board of directors.
Two researchers—one from the life sciences and one from the physical sciences—are needed to help shape the strategic direction of the synchrotron facility, which is located at the Harwell science and innovation campus in Oxfordshire.
Candidates must possess knowledge of the use of synchrotrons and of their research infrastructure, and must also be able to manage organisational change and “engage with the the government’s research landscape reforms”.
