The Natural Environment Research Council is the latest UK research council to support the Royal Society of Edinburgh’s Enterprise Fellowships, which help researchers develop and launch new businesses.
One-year Enterprise Fellowships will be funded in research areas that fall within NERC’s remit—terrestrial, marine, freshwater, science-based archaeology, atmospheric and polar sciences and Earth observation—the society announced on 30 August.
They are open to researchers based in the UK and there is no requirement for applicants to have been involved in research projects previously funded by NERC.
