The Natural Environment Research Council has issued a call for applications to its science board.
NERC is recruiting three members to the board that provides advice to its governing council on science-related issues.
The research council said that applicants must be “first-rate environmental scientists” and knowledgeable about strategic environmental-science issues, NERC funding of environmental science and broader UK research funding, as well as being familiar with issues around the use and impact of NERC-funded science.
