Money is part of a £56 million bid to boost business productivity
Innovate UK’s Knowledge Transfer Partnerships scheme to link companies with academic and research organisations is to receive a £25 million boost.
The funding, announced on 5 November, will support placements of over 200 graduates into businesses to help “translate their research insights into business growth”, according to the government. Innovate’s partnership scheme is designed to fill skills gaps in industry by encouraging placements from academia.
