Accelerate UK ‘would join up fragmented efforts’ to adopt new technologies
A new research council should be set up to support the adoption of innovation, according to the Confederation of British Industry.
Accelerate UK would “bring strategy, scale and visibility to government support for innovation adoption” by complementing the expertise and role of Innovate UK and other councils, industry lobby group the CBI has said in a proposal submitted to the government’s spending review.
