UKRI awards contracts to run services for next supercomputer

Edinburgh centre will carry out complex engineering tasks and advanced scientific programming

UK Research and Innovation has awarded contracts to a facility at the University of Edinburgh to run services for the next national supercomputer, known as ARCHER2.

The Edinburgh Parallel Computing Centre has been awarded contracts to run the service provision and computational science and engineering services for the supercomputer, the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council announced on 26 March.
