Ottoline Leyser, director of the Sainsbury Laboratory, to take over government funder in June
Plant geneticist Ottoline Leyser will take over as CEO of the UK’s largest public research funder, UK Research and Innovation, at the end of June.
Leyser (pictured right), currently director of the Sainsbury Laboratory at the University of Cambridge, will replace Mark Walport (pictured left).
