UKRI seeks director for ‘simpler and better funding’

New programme aims to simplify processes as part of the government’s crackdown on bureaucracy

UK Research and Innovation has readvertised the position of funding director of its new Simpler and Better Funding programme, as the national funder sets about trying to reduce bureaucracy.

The new SBF programme aims to bring all projects relevant to UKRI’s funding processes together into a single programme to deliver “a reformed, end-to-end funding process for UKRI including a multi-million-pounds new, electronic application system”, UKRI said.
