Service restored for UK Research Office in Brussels, with ‘no evidence of any data theft’
Access to the UK Research Office portal in Brussels, run by UK Research and Innovation, has been restored following a ransomware cyberattack in January.
In a statement released on 24 February, UKRI said that it “takes incidents of this nature very seriously and has investigated this incident thoroughly. This included an expert third-party forensic investigation and last week we announced that there was no evidence of any data theft from our systems.”
