Technology executive and business leader Indro Mukerjee has been appointed to the new role of chief executive of the UK’s innovation agency in what is seen as shift in focus for the funding body.
Mukerjee is tasked with transitioning Innovate UK “from a grant-funding body to an agency focused on driving economic growth by working with companies to de-risk, enable and support innovation”.
