National funder seeks ideas for alternative funding as prime minister discusses Horizon association with EU
National funder UK Research and Innovation is seeking ideas for back-up funding if the UK fails to associate to Horizon Europe—as prime minister Rishi Sunak said he “hopes to see progress” in negotiations.
On 19 June, UKRI and the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology published a call for “bold, ambitious, and transformative ideas for moonshots across the research and innovation landscape”.
