Funder expects all research grant funding opportunities to run on the new service by 2024
UK Research and Innovation’s plan to create a more user-friendly funding service is on track for delivery by December 2023, the national funder has said.
The Simpler and Better Funding (SBF) programme aims to replace UKRI’s Joint Electronic Submission system—known as Je-S—with a “single, consistent, user-centred service” that “reduces the burden of finding, applying for and managing research funding”.
