Four allegations upheld at UKRI with further two upheld among grant winners, data show
A total of six internal allegations of bullying were made to national funder UK Research and Innovation last year, with three further external complaints recorded about UKRI grant holders, Research Professional News can reveal.
Data released via a freedom of information request show that all the internal complaints were formally investigated and four were upheld. The figures were taken from across UKRI’s nine research councils, which had a total headcount of 7,883 in 2021-22.
