New grant-application system goes down for second time, causing more deadlines to be extended
Repeated technical problems with UK Research and Innovation’s new funding service are causing frustration among researchers unable to submit their applications.
After a two-hour fault last week that affected 19 funding opportunities, there was a further three-and-a-half-hour outage on 27 September, impacting 15 more opportunities that were due to close the following day.
