Education reforms could harm social mobility, warns University Alliance

The government’s plans to control student numbers when tuition fees are raised to £9,000 could damage social mobility, according to the University Alliance group of business-focussed universities.

The group has published its response to the consultation on the Milburn review on Social Mobility and Child Poverty, which closed on 16 October.
