Manchester university strengthens tie with chemicals firm

The University of Manchester has built on its reputation as a centre for materials research by signing an agreement for further collaboration with the Belgian-based chemicals multinational Solvay.

A £1.4 million, four-year agreement will see the two partners working together on advanced materials for use in healthcare, sensor technology and biocatalysts.
