An investigation is underway into the work of Alirio Melendez, who has been suspended from his position as chair of immunology at the University of Liverpool.
The National University of Singapore, Melendez’s former institution, is reviewing around 70 papers after the researcher was forced to retract a paper in the journal Nature Immunology.
