Merger off the menu in Scotland

There will be no merger between Abertay University, Dundee University and Dundee College, the institutions have said in a joint statement to the Scottish Funding Council.

The decision was made following a “very open and positive discussion” of the potential for “closer collaboration within the context of the Scottish government’s proposals for reform of post-16 education in Scotland”, said the 17 November statement.
