Strathclyde University launches £36m pharma institute

The University of Strathclyde has opened a £36 million pharmacy and biomedical institute devoted to developing new medicines.

The Glasgow centre employs researchers in chemistry, biology and pharmaceuticals to develop drugs for common diseases such as cancer, heart disease and stroke.
