UK universities ‘fun’ and ‘expensive’

An analysis of public attitudes about UK universities carried out by YouGov-Cambridge has revealed “expensive” and “fun” as the words most commonly associated with higher education.

The research, analysed by the Pearson Centre for Policy and Learning, asked more than 4,000 people for their views in April and May this year, following the announcement of government plans to introduce higher fees.
