Tuition fees frozen for Northern Ireland students

Ministers of the Northern Ireland Executive have announced that tuition fees in the country will be capped at current levels and rise only with inflation.

Stephen Farry, minister for employment and learning, announced on 8 September that he had secured additional funding for the policy from the Executive to meet the £40 million higher education budget deficit.
