A total of 50 UK universities have achieved the HR Excellence in Research Award from the European Commission, the research careers organisation, Vitae, has said.
Twelve new UK universities have been given the award, which acknowledges that their practices are in line with the European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct for their Recruitment.
