Manchester to spend £1bn on campus revamp

The University of Manchester is to spend £1 billion over the next 10 years on creating a single campus.

The university’s ‘estates master plan’, approved last week by the university’s board of governors, will see £700 million invested over the next six years in new buildings for medicine, law and business, and in refurbishing the Jodrell Bank telescope, among other projects.
