Research-focused vet school to open at University of Surrey

The UK’s eighth veterinary school—which will embrace the links between human and animal health—is to be built at the University of Surrey.

The school, to be launched in 2014, will also run a research-led veterinary medicine degree programme. It is hoped it will encourage collaborations between disciplines and aims to give students experience in engineering, physics and core business skills.
